I depend on you lyrics:

Verse1:
I cannot help myself, oh lord
Jesus, I depend on you
I cannot find my way, oh lord
Jesus, I depend on you
I cannot help myself, oh lord
Jesus, I depend on you
I cannot find my way, o lord
Jesus, I depend on you

Oh lord, cos you are the way
And you are the truth
And you lead me through right here

Verse2:
I cannot help myself, oh lord
Jesus, I depend on you
I cannot find my way, oh lord
Jesus, I depend on you
Chorus:
I depend on you lord
Jesus, I depend on you
I depend on you lord
Jesus, I depend on you
I depend on you lord
Jesus, I depend on you
I depend on you lord
Jesus, I depend on you

Bridge1:
For you are stronger than I am
Oh lord, I depend on you
And you are greater than I am
So lord, I depend on you
And you are higher, so much higher than I am
Oh lord, I depend on you
And you are wiser than I am
Oh lord, I depend on you

Chorus:
I depend on you lord
Jesus, I depend on you
I depend on you lord
Jesus, I depend on you

Bridge2:
I have worked with you
You have never failed
And you are not about to
This I know, I have worked with you
You have never failed
And you are not about to
This I know, I have worked with you
You have never failed
And you are not about to
Oh lord, this I know so well
Oh lord I depend on you

‘I depend on you’ talked about how dependent we are on Jesus. This is what God want from His people, total dependence on Him for everything we need in life. This is what this song is all about. He also talked about how great and faithful God is to him.

Instrumentals:
The harmonizing voices of the backup vocals fully supported the mellow voice of the lead vocal. The sound of the lead guitar, the strings, intro and sound of the piano, the drums, the African instruments, and other instruments provided a full atmosphere of worship.
