Song lyrics: Stars we are by Frank Edwards

Stars we are lyrics:

Verse1:
Turn your light all the way up
Right up to the sky where we belong
We bring light to the rest of the world
Stars we are
We are, we are

You light me up, and I light you up
Together we will change the world
Oh yes we can if you believe
Stars we are
We are, we are
Stars we are
We are, we are

Chorus:
Stars we are, we shine our light together
Stars we are, we lighting out the world
Moon and sun have their faces
Stars we are
We are, we are
Stars we are
We are, we are

Verse2:
Let shine in the life of the motherless
There is greater in your mind, let it shine
Let shine in the life of the homeless
Stars we are
We are, we are

What will it cost a candle, to light up another candle
Nothing, to show them love
Shine on, shine on
Light up your world
Stars we are,
We are, we are
Stars we are
We are, we are

Chorus:

This song brought the fact that we are light and we have to shine whichever way we can, no matter how little. The best way we can shine is to show some sincere love to one another. When we shine together, we shine brighter.

Instrumentals:
A simple sound filled with energy was delivered with the piano and a passionate vocal. These two boldly delivered the heart of the songwriter.

Jane is a university student studying social science. Each time she is at home, she helped her mother with her fruit selling business along the road. In school, they knew her as Mary dancer because she refused any premarital sexual relationship that come her way and that she is also a ballet dancer, that which is not common in her society. When her classmates found out she sells fruits with her mother, they laughed at her but she ignored them and was not affected by their attitude towards her. Jane had a dream of dancing internationally where audience from all over the world would come and watch her dance. So she focused on that dream and ignored every discouragement around her.
