I Break A Tear

I break a tear for the men of our homes
The image of the Lord
The root of mankind
The shepherd of his house

I break a tear for the men of our homes
Where is he at
Not in the church
Not in the home

I break a tear for the men of our homes
In the bed of the estranged
With the liquid of disgrace
Left the light for the darks

I break a tear for the men of our homes
The shepherd lost his rod
The way he can not lead
The flock all lost abroad

I break a tear for the men of our homes
The helper tries  to lead
Her duty is just to help
Oh! her cover she has lost

I break a tear for the men of our homes
The truth he never grasped
The faith he never built
The power he never felt

I break a tear for the men of our homes
If a tear heals a home
And bring our men back
I'd break more tears for our men.

Within the last of the tomb

Within the last of the tomb Are fresh and quick sand The hairs rough and needed comb Whom the owners sought for a land When bitterness taste like it is from honeycomb Men stood and roll their last band Not of victory but cry of a lost womb Of a child who was at hand Those left behind blasted by a bomb Their remains soon would turn manure sold for few rand Within the last of the tomb Are bodies which testify failure of a magic wand.
