Black Smith and the Money Digits 1

Blacky as he is popularly called by friends finished at the bottom of his class, in fact he managed to graduate with his mates. His mates knew he is a smart fellow but do not have interest in any other thing except those that involved numbers.

Black’s parents (Mr. and Mrs. Smith) were not so disappointed in him because they knew he was not serious with his academics, in fact they forced him to get a formal education. So they refused to use their connection to get a job for him but left him to figure it out.

Black refused to follow the trend of his mates in applying for big companies, they gossiped that he is scared of competition and cannot cope. But that is far from the truth as Black is obsessed with making little things great, his profile can speak much for him in that angle.

Fuse Tech, a foreign technology company was at the point of collapse because of lack of proper financial management and they kept laying-off staff which made them unable to compete in the technology market. Blacky was on the news when he got the information and quickly researched on the company, so he came up with a plan. By Monday morning he was off for his first job. He was able to convince the management of Fuse Tech to sign him in on no payment deal, the CEO did not have any choice than to give him a try.

When Blacky broke the news of his first job and the condition surrounding the job to his parents, they laughed him to scorn and branded him unserious and a coward. Within one month of working at Fuse Tech he did his number magic and things began to change for good. Everyone at Fuse Tech was surprise at the sudden change, it was too quick. Before 6months Blacky was done restructuring the finanacial status of Fuse Tech and it transcends the financial market.

The press was on Fuse Tech CEO to know how the magic happened and who the magic man was. But their agreement with Blacky stated his identity should be kept secret. They pleaded with Blacky to change their agreement and keep him as a permanent staff but he refused, collected his pay for the job well done and was on his way in search again for another falling Elephant to raise back to its feet. All these while Mr. and Mrs. Smith had followed Blacky up realizing how wrong they were in their judgment and could not stop his decision but gave all their support and prayers to him.
