Framed up

Jinee is a young man who believed in hardworking and doing things right. He was not into ladies that most people thought he was gay. His friend Mayo would always make jest of him that he is allergic to ladies, Jinee would smile each time.

Jinee stood and exposed a corrupted fellow at his workplace (Vincent) which led to Vincent’s dismissal. The CEO of their company applauded him for his braveness.

A day came as Jinee was going to work he passed a lady, her car broke down on her way to work. Jinee had already passed but with a heart of pity returned to offer help. The car lost contact in its battery, he quickly fixed it and was about to leave when the lady called him back to thank him for his kind gestures. Jinee responded and was about leaving the second time when something caught his heart, he returned and asked the lady her name. The lady replied Anna, he went further to ask what she do for a leaving. She replied event planning, Jinee went forth and collected her complimentary card and left for work while the lady went her way without having anything in mind. As Jinee continued to drive, he could not believe how far he went concerning her encounter with the lady. All through that day he lost focus and the lady’s face kept appearing before him.

Jinee manned up and approached Anna and they became friends. When Mayo saw her he was not comfortable and warned Jinee to stay clear from her that there is something smoky about her. Instead of heeding to his advice, Jinee went further and committed himself the more to their relationship.

On a faithful Wednesday by 5pm Anna called Jinee that she was waiting for him in his apartment because she had his keys. But when Jinee came home he saw no one, as he opened his door he saw a man lying lifeless on the floor, before he could ask himself what was going on someone knocked at his door and quickly opened the door without waiting to hear his response. Three policemen came in and began to interrogate him of how the man got to his room. Before he could open his mouth, he was handcuffed and thrown into the police car waiting outside. An ambulance came immediately and took the corpse away. Jinee neighbors were startled by the sight of the corpse and there was confusion all over that neighborhood.

Mayo heard of the incident and rushed to police station to see Jinee. Mayo met with Jinee and avoided playing the blame game but in his heart he was saying if Jinee had listened to him. Jinee sent him to his family to get the issue known to them. Jinee’s lawyer and Mayo insisted Anna framed him up but he still believed it was not so but felt Anna might be in trouble and pleaded they should search for her. Nobody believed Jinee rather they said he is drunk in love.

As the police investigated the case, in a week time they made an arrest which led them to the leader of the gang. The leader was arrested and brought to the police station. When Jinee and Mayo saw him they recognized his face, he was Vincent the man that was sacked because of a corruption case he was found guilty of. He further confessed how he swore to get back at Jinee. Facts was gathered that he killed the man whose body was found in Jinee’s room and also kidnapped Anna to clear any trace to him. He disclosed where Anna was kept. Police raid the building rescued Anna unharmed, killed one culprit and arrested the other two.

Soon Jinee was cleared and released as his family was waiting for him outside. He was so glad to be reunited with Anna and his family once again. Mayo apologized to Anna for suspecting her not knowing her life was in more danger. The culprits and Vincent were served justice.
