Black continued to make progress and planned to go international. He was almost through with the preparatory stage when Pa Greg fell ill. When Black rushed him to the hospital the doctor said he might not survive it because he is old.
Pa Greg summoned Black and requested he bring his parents urgently. This sudden request was strange to Black, yet he couldn’t deny the old man his request. When Mr. and Mrs. Smith (Black’s parents) came to meet Pa Greg, they were struck with their greatest surprise. Pa Greg had documented and willed all his assets including Greg grocery stores to Black. Pa Greg only called them to communicate it to them so they would not think otherwise concerning their child. Black could not believe his ears and was shut up in shock because even as he knew Pa Greg had lost his immediate family, he knew he have other relatives.
About 2weeks after Pa Greg was hospitalized, he died but before his death he made Black promise him that he will switch to the computerized method in handling the store’s account. Black mourned Pa Greg, gave him a befitting burial and promised not to let Pa Greg down.
Black went back to business and continued his plan to take Greg grocery stores international. Throughout his trail and success there have been a lady to whom he shared Pa Greg’s dream concerning Greg grocery stores with. This lady, May had been a lot of help to Black and late Pa Greg and happened to be the first staff Black hired after his partnership with late Pa Greg. Black and May’s relationship had gone from employer-employee to friends, best friends. Black made up his mind and proposed to her and she accepted. Both families were contacted and they wedded in church.
Black’s plan with May and the rest of the management crew concerning taking Greg grocery stores across the globe was executed. This attracted foreign investors, also so many countries accepted their initiative. Before their local competitors could know it, Black and his team swept their foot totally. Their success continued and Greg grocery stores expanded the more that it became an international grocery company with millions of staff abroad. Black Smith became an international figure, received several international business awards and was invited to several international business seminars as a source person.
