Story: The Hunted Hunter

Princess is a beautiful, tall and classy young lady. She believes her life has no limit and that she is capable of getting all she wants at all cost. She also the type that intimidates people she thought she is better off and that is the attitude many hates about her.

Princess’s life had been a bed of roses due to the fact that she lived with her family abroad (Castle city), a city that all things seemed possible. She had all she wanted even after her college because she was paid handsomely by her father’s company where she was working even though she just graduated. Princess’s attitude was the reason she could not stay or last in any relationship as she always want to be in control of every situation. In fact, her last relationship which was with Clone a basketball player was called off by her without no much reason only that she felt little and unimportant whenever they go for an event. She knew Clone loved her yet she accused him of flirting just to have her way out of the relationship.

This continued until one day she met Gordon. Gordon is a business man based on Princess’s home country (Venie) but normally take business trip to Castle city. Gordon was dinning in a fast food when he heard Princess mention her surname on a phone call, he then knew she was from Venie because the name is unique to people of Venie. Gordon approached her to inquire. After discussing for a while Gordon promised to come and see her parents. Soon Gordon became a family friend and was close to Princess. He did not mind Princess’s attitude but decided to ignore that aspect of her. As time pass by, one thing led to another, they fall in love, married and was set to go back to Venie where Gordon is based.
Princess was unconcerned about her attitude and was lucky Gordon’s family was a family that understands.

The truth is that Princess did not know how popular and rich Gordon is, but soon after they arrived Venie, it began to get clear to her especially the rich aspect. As if that was not enough, soon Gordon was invited to an award night and was asked to endeavor to come with his wife. When they got there, Princess was amazed at how the camera was all over her husband. They barely noticed her if not that she was Gordon’s new wife. Princess nearly busted out in tears when Gordon received the most prestigious award that night, she even refused to go with him to receive the award.

It was during the event that Gordon became clear of what was wrong with Princess and also the reason for her attitude. Being a man of great wisdom and understanding, when Gordon noticed Princess was sad as they were coming back from the event. He went forth and talked some sense into her with love and in a pleasant tune. Princess understood him and realized her mistakes, apologized to his families and friends and turned a new leaf. It was then people were able to see the reason why Gordon insisted in marrying her despite her attitude.

The Big City

I stood on the bridge And beheld the great city The weather so cold like in a fridge Everyman on his duty Some houses in a ridge I sighed and said what a pity! The land of slavery Held men hostage for years Story was told of his bravery He stood and everything he dares But he was caught up in great injury  By those who burden he bares The great city of vain Where all at last becomes vanity Where men for joy get pain Hands washed in blood in sanity All they seek is their gain To acquire riches and vitality Yet our sight is blinded Our strength weakened In wisdom we are fooled In our kingdom we are doomed We still perceive all is well Until we receive our wage and fell By J_amaze
