Story: The Surrogate Plan

Tonny is a very rich man but his wife, Diana could not have a child because she always have miscarriage whenever she is pregnant. This constant miscarriage was because she is diabetic. The doctor had advised them to seek a surrogate mother to carry the baby to term.

Becky was a young lady who knows only to spend money she cannot earn because she is a lazy fellow. Becky stays alone at Zani city.

After trying severally without result, Tonny and Diana agreed to get a surrogate mother. Somehow Becky heard of the offer from a friend. The offer was huge so she threw herself in without a second thought. Her mind was in the money, the abroad trip for delivery and the lot she had to enjoy from the rich and high profiled family.

The process was conducted and the fetus transferred to Becky’s womb. Actually, Becky got what she wanted as she was pampered and a lot lavished on her. But what she got was more than what she bargained for as the feeling of motherhood started to change her. Soon she started to forget that the child she was carrying was not her biological child. Knowing she would be off the picture when she is delivered of the child, she prayed the time should not come quickly.

When the time of her delivery approached, Becky and Diana travelled abroad as planned. After her delivery, as Becky and Diana were at the airport at Zani city waiting for the car to come and pick them up, Becky started feeling uneasy out of the fear of being separated from the child. Becky was to be paid when she is about to leave at the end of their contract. Feeling more unstable, Becky disappeared with child. When Diana noticed was no more with her, she raised an alarm. Soon the police were after Becky and apprehended her at her house. Diana was surprise she did not run away with the child because that is what she thought she had done.

Becky was asked why she left with the child. She then explained how the child had affected her life and how she felt now she is about to leave. She then asked Tonny and Diana to promise her to take good care of the child. She also refused to take the money saying it makes her feel like she is selling the baby.

Tonny and Diana understood her, forgave her and allowed her more time to spend with their baby until she ready to leave. They also gave her permission to visit at anytime. Becky was happy on their decision and her life was changed for good.
