Little about War Room:
War Room is a movie by the Kendrick Brothers directed by Alex Kendrick, produced by Alex Kendrick and Stephen Kendeick. Casted in the movie include; Alex Kendrick as Coleman Young, Priscilla Shirer as Elizabeth Jordan, T.C Stallings as Tony Jordan, Beth Moore as Mandy, Karen Abercrombie as Clara Williams and others.

Storyline:
The movie tells a story of a woman, Clara whose husband was caught up in his service for his country as a military man. This attitude of his she was not happy about. This continued until the man died, then she released that the devil was actually the enemy of her marriage and happiness. She resolved to help other women through prayers fight this battle which she did when she met Elizabeth.

Audience comment:
A said, “This movie is meant for Christian families, make sure you watch it.”
B said, “This movie has a powerful message. It’s so true about who the enemy is (the Devil). It’s easy to see people differently now especially when you know whose working behind the face you see. That’s why Jesus Christ said to Peter “Get thee behind me Satan”. Jesus knew that what Peter had just said to him was really coming from what Satan (the Devil) had put into his thoughts.”
C said, “I have just watched this movie from our movie rental pay chanel on tv in South Africa. The first time I was balling my eyes out and I had to watch it again now with pen and my journal. It came at the right time when I was beginning to examine my walk with God. I knew my prayer life was mediocre but I just didn’t know how to change it. For me this movie is a prayer being answerd, I now know exactly how to change from this luke warm status to being Hot and I am challenged, I am excited. God to bless these brothers with abundant finances to continue spreading the good news. I plan to find and buy dvd’s for me and every household in my extended family. I JUST CAN’T KEEP THIS SECRET OF LIFE TO MYSELF.”
D said, “So the movie does a good job of preaching (pun intended) to the choir, but could hardly win over a skeptic with its “message.” The main problem here is that the Kendrick’s don’t know how to deliver a message without hitting you over the head with it. You deliver the message through your story, not by speechifying. It wasn’t long into the movie that I wanted to strangle Miss Clara!”

Effects:
The movie has a pretty cool image and sound, trust the Kendrick brothers in delivering in that aspect. The background sound on every scene and incident was properly matched especially the military and the part Elizabeth prayed aggressively as if she was talking to a devil she can see.


My opinion and lessons:
The movie is packed with awesome spiritual insights towards fighting the right war and the right enemy. This is a movie with many lessons to learn. I therefore recommend everyone especially ladies married, unmarried to watch.
